Slab-rolled hand-cut tile, made from warm red stoneware dipped in a creamy white slip, fired mid-range in an electric kiln to cone 6, balancing durability and strength with vibrancy of color. The individualized illustrations are hand-drawn and painted with a cobalt wash. The tile is glazed with a home-mixed glossy satin. An indentation carved into the back enables the tile to be hung.
